The clothing and other items you buy for your newborn will very often reflect the personality of the parents. If you are conservative people, you might not like flashy baby clothes and accessories. Bohemian moms and dads often reflect that outlook on life in how the baby is presented in public. But it will be seen because when people look into the stroller, the first place their eyes go to is the babies face. If the pacifier has a little joke on it like "What are you looking at?" that can get a real laugh when another parent sees that at the park or at playgroup.
Of course, you will be careful even when finding humorous pacifiers to be sure to buy a top quality unit that meets the needs of your baby. The humorous pacifier might become part of your "going out clothes" so it doesn’t get as much use at home. But as long as you are tasteful and let the humor reflect your outlook on life, a little humor even on the simple device like a pacifier can bring a smile to a friend or relative which is always pleasant to see happen.
